Checklists and spec sheets for hideout prep and PC / Linux installs.
Guides teach systems. Tier lists argue about guns. This hub is for pages you keep open while the hideout menu is open: a door checklist before you raid, and a spec sheet before you argue with Steam. HOPE 01 is a small install with a dense UI. The Cluster kills people who skip prep, not people who skipped a 70 GB shader cache.

Why a wiki needs tools in a pixel-art RPG
HOPE 01 mixes extraction stakes with inventory tetris, drag-to-load magazines, and a fabricator that wants you to scan before you print. That is a lot of verbs at the hideout door. A checklist is not flavour; it is how you stop leaving without food for the third time.
The same is true of specs. Steam lists a Ryzen 3 3100 / Core i3-10100F minimum, “most GFX cards,” 70 MB Windows storage, 400 MB Linux storage, and 16 MB RAM. That last number is almost certainly a store-page typo, but we report what Steam reports and then tell you what players actually do. If you are on Steam Deck or a handheld, that conversation lives on the requirements page, not in a gun tier list.
Loadout checklist, in brief
Before every raid:
- Named extract and a backup in mind (How to Extract, Hab Cluster Map).
- Primary gun scanned, mag seated, spare mag loaded.
- Utility light you know how to hold (Controls, Gadgets).
- Food and water printed. Converter only if calories exist (Fabricator).
- Grid hole for bricks and one blue item.
- Nothing in the bag you would refuse to die with — or everything unique is already scanned.

Specs, in brief
- Platforms: Windows 64-bit and SteamOS / Linux. Native Linux, not a Windows-only promise.
- Size: about 70 MB on Windows; Linux storage listing is 400 MB.
- CPU min: AMD Ryzen 3 3100, Ryzen 5 2600, or Intel Core i3-10100F.
- CPU rec: Ryzen 5 5600X / 7600 or Intel Core i5-12400 / 13400.
- GPU: Steam says most cards. This is 2D pixel art.
- RAM listing: 16 MB. Treat that as a store error; 16 GB is how people actually spec machines in 2026, but we will not pretend Steam wrote 16 GB.
- Language: English interface, audio, and subtitles only in-game.
- Mode: single-player, 21 achievements, family sharing listed on the store.

How to use these pages during a session
- At install: System Requirements, then Troubleshooting if the client misbehaves (a Steam thread already described absurd FPS making input feel late — cap the frame rate). Discord via Links Hub for leftover bugs.
- At hideout: checklist page on a second monitor or in your head.
- After a wipe: checklist first, Weapons second. Most wipes are missing light, mag, or timer, not missing an S-tier rifle.
- After a patch: Updates Hub for fabric and boss changes, then re-tick the checklist if print costs moved.
What these tools are not
They are not a damage calculator. HOPE 01 does not publish a public API of gun formulas, and we will not fake one. They are not a map editor. Landmark the Cluster yourself with the Hab Cluster Map habits.
They are also not official Bending Boy Games utilities. The developer collects feedback on Discord and Steam forums; send bugs there, not into a fan checklist.
